Bread custard
This milk-based dessert—made with custard powder, fried bread, cardamom, and crushed nuts—is a classic Indian home-style treat I grew up eating. It’s simple, comforting, and incredibly satisfying. The addition of cardamom adds a subtle floral warmth that’s essential in so many Indian desserts
